Peak Squash PArENT Policy

PARENT & GUARDIAN POLICY

At Peak Squash, our mission is to create a healthy, disciplined, and supportive environment where every athlete can reach their potential — both on and off the court. Parents and guardians play a vital role in shaping this environment.

This policy outlines expectations to ensure that our program remains positive, professional, and built on mutual respect.

🎯 OUR SHARED GOAL

To help your child grow as an athlete and a person — learning discipline, teamwork, and resilience through squash.

🔑 OUR VALUES (FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED)

1. Respect

• Speak positively about players, coaches, officials, and opponents.

• Allow the coach to coach — avoid sideline instructions during training or competition.

• Treat all players fairly, regardless of ability or background.

2. Accountability

• Ensure your child arrives on time, prepared, and ready to train.

• Communicate any absences, injuries, or concerns in advance.

• Support your child’s learning by reinforcing the same standards at home — effort, humility, and consistency.

3. Effort

• Encourage your child to give their best effort — not just to win, but to improve.

• Recognise progress over perfection. Celebrate growth, not just results.

4. Humility

• Model grace in victory and composure in defeat.

• Teach your child to respect officials and accept feedback.

• Remember: success in sport comes from patience and process.

5. Communication

• Direct all questions, feedback, or concerns privately to Coach Sunny.

• Keep communication respectful and solutions-focused.

• In case of serious matters (health, scheduling, behaviour), arrange a meeting — not a COURT-SIDE conversation.

📌 ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES

• Parents are welcome to observe sessions quietly but must not interfere with drills or match play.

• Encourage healthy recovery habits: hydration, rest, nutrition, and balance with academics.

• Support a positive team culture — our language, tone, and energy matter.

We’re building more than athletes — we’re building strong, respectful individuals who will carry these values far beyond sport.

Let’s work together to make this environment one we can all be proud of.
